That leaves users sorting through separate record systems with different rules and different custody stages. This site organizes the researched record paths so a person can understand the difference between jail custody, filed cases, and later custody changes.
The pages are built from official public sources and the Ottawa County research file prepared for this project. Local details are kept separate from state and federal custody references so similarly named counties in other states do not get mixed into Ottawa County, Kansas content.
